It’s been a busy few weeks getting the house ready for the baby shower a few weeks ago organized by a couple of Huyen’s art therapy peoples and getting the nursery all set for the impending arrival of baby Bea Arthur MacMichael. Things are going really well and we’re feeling ready to be parents, though I did have a brief moment of “HolygodI’mnotreadyforthis” earlier in the week. It’s passed.

Then, last week, poop hit the fan at the Ping so Paul and I scrambled to move six plus years worth of data from a hobbled-together hand-coded system to shiny new blogging software. Thankfully, it’s all back up and running well and the Ping’s first extended downtime in its history wasn’t too painful.

One Sentence has been going really well, getting some decent recognition. Lots of great new stories, too. Now I just need to implement that thumbs up/thumbs down system so that the really good stuff can get recognized.

I’ve slacked off in my running this month, but picked back up with a really awfully-paced 4-miler on Sunday.

And other than all that, I’ve been doing nothing. Nothing at all.
