Blogroll
It’s like the old days… it’s a blogroll!
I’m slowly building this list up. It’s a combination of old school bloggers who are still at it and younger folks (could I sound older?) that I’ve recently found. I’m truly heartened to see how many people of all ages are bringing the vibe of the old, independent web back.
- Anh: anhvn.comIt's easily to lose your afternoon digging into all the corners of Anh's site.
- Emily Moran Barwick: fromemily.comA personal site from someone you can tell truly cares about it and tends to it like a good friend.
- Paul Bausch: onfocus.comOld-school blogger that literally worked for Blogger. I met him twice, documented on his blog in 2006 (!) and 2000 (!!).
- Alex Chan: alexwlchan.netAlex's series on tiny archives really hit for me.
- Henry Desroches: stillness.digital"Digital Stillness."
- Matt Haughey: a.wholelottanothing.orgAn OG blogger. I had lunch with him once and introduced myself as Maury Povich. (Long story.)
- Jason Kottke: kottke.orgJason has been blogging since 1953.
- Loura: heyloura.comThe perfect example of a delightful and truly personal indieweb site.
- Merlin Mann: merlin.ghost.ioPoor guy, still trying to shed the "Inbox Zero Guy" title. Long-time blogger, still sharp as ever.
- Paul McAleer: phonezilla.netYou know, it's Paul! From that thing you love!
- Manuel Moreale: manuelmoreale.comThe guy behind the always enjoyable People & Blogs series.
- Annie Mueller: anniemueller.comA new find this year as I've re-entered the small/personal web sphere.
- Chris O'Donnell: odonnellweb.comAn online friend that became in IRL friend many moons ago. Old school blogger and good dude!
- Ana Rodrigues: ohhelloana.blogUK-based front-end developer that I found recently through her posts about the indie/personal web.
- Katherine Yang: kayserifserif.placeOne of those folks I only found recently. Engaging writing, fun site design. Reminds me a lot of the early days of blogs.
